A Foreign Trade Ship capsized on June 23, 2007

• A Foreign Trade Ship was drown in near Thannirubhavi at Panambur Mangalore. On 23/06/2007 afternoon due to heavy rainfall and wind blow a trade ship that was docked at Panambur dockyard was blowed from Panambur to Thannirubhavi. As a result two deaths have been confirmed and rescue team rescued eighteen crewmembers. The Nationality of the crew yet to be identified. The District Administration along with District Police battling with wind as well as with heavy rainfall to rescue the crew. We are proud that our rescue team has been able to rescue the foreign nationals.

• In another incident two were confirmed dead by falling from MCF Mangalore. Wheather it is accident or suicide yet to be traced.
